Ho Chi Minh City Promotes Tourism with Night Flights

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, as of early July, 16 tourist accommodations in the city have registered to participate in the tourism promotion program for night flights.

This initiative is part of a broader plan to promote night-flight tourism in Ho Chi Minh City. It is directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and implemented by the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines, and various travel agencies and tourist accommodations.

Hotels participating in the program offer discounts ranging from 20% to 100% on the first night's room rate for passengers arriving on night flights. Subsequent nights are charged at the listed rate or discounted by 60%, depending on the policies and conditions set by each hotel.

The 16 participating hotels include:

• Liberty Central Saigon Hotel System (3 locations: Riverside, Citypoint, Centre): 50% off the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights charged at the listed rate.
• Dong Khanh Hotel: 100% off the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights charged at the full rate.
• The Myst Dong Khoi Hotel: 49% off the first night's room rate, 53% off from the second night onward (for Dong Khoi room type – 30 nights available), including breakfast buffet, daily afternoon mini buffet from 2 PM to 4 PM, and free access to the pool, gym, sauna, and steam bath.
• Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel: 45% off the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights charged at the listed rate. Free one-way airport transfer (7-seater vehicle) between 10 AM and 10 PM on check-out day, with a minimum stay of three nights.
• A25 Hotel System (6 locations): Two promotional packages are available: a 2-day, 2-night stay with 50% off the first night's room rate and 20% off the second night; and a 3-day, 3-night stay with 70% off the first night's room rate and 20% off subsequent nights.

Based on the registrations from these 16 hotels, Vietnam Airlines will proactively contact and collaborate to create combo packages that include round-trip airfare and 2 or 3 nights' accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to attract more tourists in 2024.
