Night Flyers to Ho Chi Minh City Will Receive Free Hotel Accommodation for the First Night
/ 16/07/2024(PLO) - Night flyers to Ho Chi Minh City will be offered a free night's stay at a hotel as part of a tourism promotion program encouraging the use of night flights.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism announced that by early July, 16 tourist accommodation establishments had registered to participate in the initiative aimed at promoting night flights to the city.
This initiative is a collaboration between the Department of Tourism, the Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines, travel agencies, and tourist accommodation providers.
According to the Department of Tourism, night flights have not yet attracted many passengers, leading to the cancellation of many flights. Therefore, to draw more night flyers, collaboration among the relevant parties is essential.
Night flyers to Ho Chi Minh City will receive a free night at a hotel. The participating hotels offer discounts ranging from 20% to 100% off the first night's room rate based on listed prices. From the second night onward, the listed rate or a 60% discount will apply, depending on the establishment's specific policies and conditions.
For instance, Dong Khanh Hotel offers a 100% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights charged at the full rate. The Myst Dong Khoi Hotel offers a 49% discount on the first night's room rate, and a 53% discount from the second night onward for the Dong Khoi room type (30 room nights), along with other services.
Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel offers a 45% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights at the listed rate.
The Liberty Central Saigon hotel chain offers a 50% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights at the listed rate.
The A25 hotel chain has developed two promotional packages: a two-day, two-night package offering a 50% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on the second night; and a three-day, three-night package offering a 70% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on subsequent nights.
A representative from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism stated that based on the registrations of the 16 establishments, Vietnam Airlines will proactively contact and work to develop combo packages including round-trip air tickets and two or three nights' accommodation at participating hotels.
