Night Flyers to Ho Chi Minh City May Receive a Free Hotel Night

On the afternoon of July 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism announced that by early July, 16 tourist accommodation establishments in the city had registered to participate in the tourism promotion program, applicable to night flights. Accordingly, hotels will offer discounts ranging from 20% to 100% off the first night's room rate based on listed prices for guests arriving on night flights. From the second night onward, the listed rate or a 60% discount will apply, depending on each establishment's specific policies and conditions.

This solution is part of a collaborative plan initiated by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines, and various travel agencies and accommodation establishments to encourage tourists to utilize night flights to Ho Chi Minh City.

Several hotels are offering substantial discounts. For instance, Dong Khanh Hotel provides a 100% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights charged at the full rate.

The Myst Dong Khoi offers a 49% discount on the first night's room rate, and a 53% discount from the second night onward, along with numerous promotional services. Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel offers a 45% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights at the listed rate, and a minimum stay of three nights is required.

The Liberty Central Saigon hotel chain offers a 50% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights at the listed rate.

The A25 hotel chain has two promotional packages: a two-night stay package offering a 50% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on the second night; and a three-night stay package offering a 70% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on subsequent nights.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, based on the registrations of the 16 establishments, Vietnam Airlines will proactively contact and collaborate to develop combo packages that include round-trip air tickets and two or three nights' accommodation in the city's hotels to attract more tourists to Ho Chi Minh City this year.

Previously, Da Nang was the first locality to announce a partnership model between airlines and accommodation establishments, including special combo packages available from June to September, priced from 2.89 million VND to 3.49 million VND. These packages include round-trip air tickets with Vietjet or Vietnam Airlines, two nights stay at 3- to 5-star hotels depending on the package, and airport transfers to the hotel. The flights in this program are night flights between 11 PM and 6 AM.
