Encouraging Night Flights, Many Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City Offer Free First Night Stay
/ 15/07/2024PNO - At least 16 accommodation establishments in Ho Chi Minh City have registered to offer discounts ranging from 20% to 100% on the first night's room rate for tourists arriving in the city by air.
This initiative results from the collaboration between the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, Vietnam Airlines, and various travel agencies and accommodation establishments to encourage tourists to take night flights to Ho Chi Minh City.
As of July 8, 16 accommodation establishments in the city have registered to offer discounts from 20% to 100% on the first night's room rate (based on listed prices), with the second night priced at the listed rate or a 60% discount, depending on the specific policies and conditions of each establishment.
Notably, Dong Khanh Hotel offers a 100% discount on the first night's room rate, with the second night charged at the full rate. The Myst Dong Khoi Hotel offers a 49% discount on the first night's room rate, including services such as a buffet breakfast, daily afternoon mini buffet from 2 PM to 4 PM, free use of the swimming pool, gym, and sauna.
Muong Thanh Luxury Saigon Hotel offers a 45% discount on the first night's room rate, with the second night priced at the listed rate, and free airport transfer by 7-seater vehicle from 10 AM to 10 PM on the day of check-out for a minimum stay of three nights.
The Liberty Central Saigon hotel chain (three establishments: Riverside, Citypoint, Centre) offers a 50% discount on the first night's room rate, with subsequent nights priced at the listed rate.
The A25 hotel chain (six establishments) has developed two promotional packages: a 2N2D package offering a 50% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on the second night; and a 3N3D package offering a 70% discount on the first night's room rate and a 20% discount on subsequent nights.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, based on the registrations of the 16 establishments, Vietnam Airlines will proactively contact and collaborate to develop combo packages including round-trip air tickets and two or three nights' accommodation in the city's hotels to attract more tourists to Ho Chi Minh City in 2024.
